Can I use AK Management on a phone or iPad?
AK Management is a web application designed to adapt to smaller screens. Camera scanning requires HTTPS and camera permission and can use native detection or a compatible cross-browser fallback.
Do I need to create new barcodes for products?
No. Existing retail barcodes can be stored on products. A scanned existing code can find the product, while a new code can be used when adding a product.
Can I use a normal USB barcode scanner?
Yes. Standard USB and Bluetooth scanners operating as keyboard/HID input are supported by the scan workflow.
Can I track supplier dues and staff salary separately?
Yes. Expenses & Dues separates general expenses, supplier dues and employee salary, including amounts, due dates and recorded payments.
What happens when a sale is refunded or voided?
Authorised users can refund or void a completed sale with a reason. The system restores sold quantities to stock and retains the transaction for audit history.
Does AK Management supply printer drivers?
No. Receipt printers must first be installed through the device operating system. AK Management then uses the available browser/system print flow, with native capability where supported.
